Small Robot Studio was created by Michael Rew in 2015 as a place to generate 3D educational content for Youtube. Since then the channel has amassed over 60 thousand subscribers, almost 4 million views, has been featured on Pixar’s Renderman site and throughout the web, and served everyone from students to studios with tutorials for a range of DCC’s.

After moving wtih Michael to New Zealand in 2020, Érika Casab has joined the studio in an official capacity and together they continue to develop educational content as well as take on commissioned work for clients globally. From character design to music videos, the studio can scale to take on a variety of briefs.
